The Benefits of Invisalign

Invisalign has many great benefits, which is why it is a very popular orthodontic treatment method. Some of the benefits of Invisalign include:

  • Aligners are virtually invisible on the teeth
  • Comfortable to wear for many hours
  • No food or activity restrictions
  • Easy to remove and clean
  • Can be used to treat advanced orthodontic issues
  • Fast and effective teeth straightening method

What is the Invisalign process like?

Every Invisalign journey begins with a consultation with our team, where we will assess your smile, budget, preferences, and orthodontic needs to determine if Invisalign is the best choice for you.

We will take X-rays and impressions of your teeth to design and create your first set of custom clear aligners. Once your aligners have arrived at our office, usually after a week or two, it will be up to you to wear them as often as possible, or any time you are not eating or brushing your teeth. We will schedule occasional checkups to examine your teeth and provide you with your next set of aligners. After you complete your treatment, we will provide you with a custom retainer, and you’ll be able to show off your straight smile with no aligners!

Am I a candidate for Invisalign?

Invisalign used to be reserved for patients with mild malocclusion.

Today, Invisalign can be used to treat a wide range of orthodontic issues, including overbites and underbites. Clear aligner therapy requires commitment from the patient to keep track of their clear aligners and wear them consistently, so it is not always the best orthodontic option for patients who are very forgetful. During your consultation, our team will be happy to address any questions or concerns you may have and assess whether or not you are a good candidate for Invisalign.
